Fencing

GeoFences are used to define areas which the vehicle is supposed to be within. Vehicle movements both in and out of the fenced areas can be logged, alerted, and reported on. There are two types of GeoFences offered by Telematics:

Circular Geofences

Circular geofences can be created with a defined radius, centered on a specific latitude and longitude. Anytime a vehicle travel out of the defined area an alert is sent.

Polygonal Geofences

Polygonal geofences can be created where circular geofences are not appropriate.
